"HOPPY" EASTER....Continued.....

So like, I said we had so many Easter Egg Hunts that we went to over Easter Weekend. We started it off with a Hunt at a local church near us, a very new church but they had 20,000 eggs. The kids loved it and there wasn't much of a challenge when they were all dumped in the middle of a field and no limits to how many you could get....the only limit was how ever much your basket can hold!!!
Of course Madelyn loved the swing set!! Our little gymnast :o)

The day was winding down quickly here, it was so hot and we all managed to get sunburns on our shoulders that day, Madelyn has not let me live it down. But at least we had some snow cones and ice cream from Brusters to cool us off!!

Ice Cream Any One?
I think I found a bug mom!!!! Let's take a look
Madelyn and Lilly on the tractor at Mrs. Cathy's mom's house. Lilly loved this tractor, it was a great picture opportunity.....that we took advantage of!

THE HUNT IS ON FOR EGGS!!!

Mommy & Lilly posing for a Picture.....

I hope that you all had a GREAT Easter Weekend like we did. Great Weather and some wonderful memories were made and lots of candy is haunting me at the house!!!! At least I have a sweet hubby who will eat it all--Even if he doesn't look at it that way :o)

Lots of Hugs & Kisses to you all!!

"HOPPY" Easter!!! Better Late than Never...Right??!!

Well, we had a very busy Easter Weekend! It looks as though this will be broken into 2 different segements. For whatever reason I can't post any more pictures on this one. BUT, "On the with Show....."

Lilly with the big Gulp..... She is so over the "baby" cups these days. If anyone is drinking fro anything other than a sippy cup she wants it to be hers!!!
The hunt is on for the Eggs. Lilly didn't have a problem finding any eggs. As a matter of fact she became quite the pro by the end of the weekend......about 300 eggs later!!!
Madelyn was ready for a challenge this year. Nothing out of the ordinary though for her. She enjoyed hiding them this year, but of course she still wanted to hunt them!! That little "cheater!"

The family Easter Pic....What a nice lookin' family!!!
Mommy & the little princesses......err...umm.....I mean Madelyn and Lilly!!
Ok, now here are the little princesses!!!
To be continued.....

A first for everything....

And that is exactly what it is!! I hope to be able to keep this blog going (which is a first for me) so that we can keep our families closer until the miles between us get closer!!

My hope is to keep this blog updated on a weekly or bi-weekly basis so that we can keep the most current or when any major events occure or some super cute pictures that can't wait a week!!!

So here we go...

Madelyn recently had her awards ceremony where you got the NOVA award and the People respecting others Award. She didn't get the perfect attendance this 9 weeks because of the darn chicken pox. But, I am sure that she will get it this time.

We are on the home stretch with school. She is starting back to school tomorrow and is really excited to get back to see her friends and her teachers.

But, in the mean time she has had a blast being outside in this nice weather we have been having....

She just recently finished up Cheerleading at the Y. And loved every moment of it. Sign-ups for football cheerleading start next week. And she is definately ready to do that. She just started gymnastics a few weeks ago and seems to be enjoying that as well. She has been showing us all sorts of cart-wheels and other stunts that she has been learning in class.

While we were outside enjoying the weather today. Lilly was pushed by her sister and fell off her little care bear trike. AND of course got a HUGE goose egg on her head. She is fine but not after being mad at her sissy and then mad at mommy for putting peroxide on her scraped up knee and daddy for trying to put ice on her head....Other than a little headache and a huge bump we are great.

Lilly and the Bump.....

Lilly can't wait to be a little bigger to be able to push the peddles on the barbie car. We will help her out until then.

It is hard to believe that she will be 2 next month. Boy time sure does fly by.....

Till the next Time.....SMOOCHES!!!
