MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Christmas was a GREAT morning for us. The girls got everything they wanted from Santa, except for the last minute request at 9:00 on Christmas Eve from Lilly......"I want a watch" she kept telling everyone. Sorry Santa is already packed up and the Santa Shoppe is closed.

Here are some of the wonderful moments we had as a family at Stone Mountain Christmas, Christmas Eve at Granny's house, and Christmas Morning.

Madelyn got a Karaoke Machine for Christmas!!! There is a concert at our house everyday now!!






Santa Brought "Magic Snow" from the North Pole for the girls to play with ALL YEAR LONG!!

Santa Delivered a puppet Theatre that Grandmother and Granddaddy, David and Jenny got for the girls. Santa was so nice to do that!!!!
Along with the concerts we have a puppetry arts show going on pretty much daily as well!!! I think we should start charging admission!!!$$$!!!

Toothless Wonder

Madelyn and Lilly were playing on Sunday Night, they collided Madelyn's teeth with Lilly's Head.....the outcome??? Madelyn lost her loose tooth PLUS 1!!! She is now our toothless wonder!! I wonder what she will be singing at Christmas??

You'll get a surprise....

The best thing in the world.....get the kids to clean up their playroom and they get a surprise. The best part is, the surprise is something we already had they had in the attic that we bought 5 years ago.

So, last night I decided this playroom has got to get clean, and I was not going to be the one doing it AGAIN!! So, while I was cooking dinner I told Madelyn and Lilly you clean up this play room and you will get a "surprise"--They were psyched.

They cleaned it all by themselves except for a few puzzle peices and play kitchen pieces that were "hidden" that I am anal about (when I actualy do clean :P) So after dinner the surprise came down out of the attic.

A HUGE blow up Hippo that you can climb in and it has a ball pit in the back of it. We bought it for Madelyn when she was like 15 months old, when we lived in our apartment, funny thing is Josh and I remembered it being a LOT bigger than it was last night. Maybe because we lived in matchbox sized apartment then. Who knows.

Regardless, the kids loved it, they worked up a sweat jumping, playing, building forts last night. It was PERFECT, and it wore then slap our for bed time, the even better part of the surprise.

So now, what can I pull out of the attic for Christmas......

It's been a while!!

It's been so long since I have blogged on here. SORRY!! What have we been up to, well Josh is working like a mad man, I am doing the million things that I do, Madelyn still loves cheerleading. Her football team she cheers for incidentially has won every single game so far this season. I see playoffs in our future.....who knew-At least I get my $145 worth :o)

We went camping over Labor day weekend at Stone Mountain with some friends of ours from church, Ray, Maria, Levi & Eli. We had a great time!! Definately soemthing we will have to do again. We love them!!!


I decided that I will post daily (so me in your favorites list) something wild, wacky, wonderful, or delightful the I, Josh, the kids or any thing else that may have amused me that day.

This morning my funniness.....Lilly wants to dress her self these days. This morning we ended up with a busted pull-up, then a new clean one, that was no good, she wants to be a BIG girl so we put on sissy's big girl panties. Once that was settled she got her head stuck in her pajama top, we solved that.....after that her head got stuck in her shirt. That was solved. The pants....that is her thing. She did that herself, no assistance. We left the house like this....in a frenzy as usually but lilly was sporting, her shirt in the right order, her pants on.....but backwards and inside out. She looked alot like a baseball umpire. She insisted on no help from Mommy!!

She is my angel!!

Just a little beach time!!! The girls were good to go for some beach fun, excited and ready to play and then once we get settled-they are ready to go back to the pool.  The pool was definately a lot more fun their books. Enjoy the pictures, I think that they are self-explanitory......Nothing but some fun in the sun :o)  



I am not sure what funky dance this is that lilly is doing--Maybe dacing to the rain gods to make the rain go away on the last day--sounds good to me....AND it worked we had beautiful skies shortly after lunch





Josh walked right past this star fish it seems and someone else onthe beach found it and gave it too us.  It now sits nicely in our kitchen....Where does one display a starfish I wonder???

Cancun Lagoon-The Crab Races are On!!

This cool restaurant, Cancun Lagoon had hermit crab races on Wednesday nights.  This mexican restuarant gave a great flare to seafood.  It was a nice change in pace.  Once we got done with dinner we headed to the bar....yes the bar and picked out our crabs for the race, My crab was named "Peanut", Lilly's was "Dora", Madelyn's was "Frito", Nanny's was "Sally" and Josh's was "Alley".  So the race as on  and "Dora" "Sally" and "Alley" all one their -heat- And went on to the final "Championship Race" .  "ALLEY" WON!!! and Josh got $10.00!!!
